In our opinion, the peasants of Ethiopia in particular and peasants in the Horn of Africa are endangered species. At the moment the Horn of Africa is plagued with all sorts of violent conflicts. In our opinion, the peasants of Ethiopia in particular and peasants in the Horn of Africa are endangered species. At the moment the Horn of Africa is plagued with all sorts of violent conflicts. These conflicts are affecting the peasants of this region tremendously. At the end of the day the conflicts they create does not end up brining and fruits to the peasants of the Horn of Africa.

In the case of Ethiopia:

EPRDF betrayed the peasants and continuously seems to be shining the city of Addis Ababa? What happen to our villages? Why can’t you do a fraction of what you do for Addis Ababa? It was the sons of the peasants that fought for EPRDF, but once it got power it went to benefit the sons and daughters of Addis Ababa. In this country too the peasant is affected by poverty, high food price and war.

In the Case of Eritrea:

The elites of Eritrea nurtured by Egypt used the peasants to gain control over what is now Eritrea. After the leaders took power they are enslaving our poor peasant brothers and sisters. At the moment the peasant of Eritrea is one of the most endangered species that nobody seems to advocate for. Our brothers and sisters sons are been caged in the mountains in the name of national service. What about the children and daughters of the elites? They are roaming the capitals of the west changing hair and cloth style. Our peasant brothers and sisters on the other hand are drying in the deserts of Eritrea in the name of national defense. We call on all organizations of the world to look into the case of the endangered species of Eritrea.

In the Case of Somalia:

Here our peasant brothers and sisters might be the most affected people of the Horn of Africa. Yes, these are some of the most endangered species in the entire world. Again our brothers are used as the tool of the powerful. Some of our brothers are forced to fight for the Arabs, and others are forced to fight for the west. At the end of the day our peasants brothers and sisters are the once pain the heavy price of loosing families, members, and facing displacement.

In face of all these problems, HAPA has been created by loyal sons and daughters of Horn of Africa peasants to address these problems.

“HAPA” believes that all the problems that exist in the Horn of Africa have been directly or indirectly created by the elites of the Horn Africa. The elites of Horn Africa are poor at conflict management, and leadership and most often use violence as means to get power or their ways. At the end of the day the violent organization that exist in the Horn of Africa, have only succeed in creating havoc, displacement, poverty, and illiteracy especially for our peasants. Namely, organizations such as, EPRDF, EPLF, ELF, EPRP, EDU, OLF, ONLF, Islamic Courts, have only succeeded in causing division among the brother and sisterly people of the Horn of Africa. In the last fifty years the elites have been given mandate to rule the peasants of Horn Africa, and they miserably failed. Now HAPA believes its time that the Horn of Africa be lead by the peasants of Horn of Africa. Finally Horn of Africa peasants have succeeded in establishing an organization that will give them voice.

HAPA will be engaged in the following programs

1. Our immediate goal will be to educate our peasants so that they could never, ever be the tools of the elites.
2. Identity Horn Africa elites residing in the west who add fuel to the fire that is taking place in the Horn of Africa, and report them to the UN.
3. Identity the children of the elites, and educate them about the misdeeds of their parents
4. Finally respond to the propagandas waged by the elites in their attempt to rule Horn of Africa peasants.
5. Inform the world that the Horn of Africa peasants are indeed an endangered species
