These are real heroes young and old always ready to give their lives these are the Abuna Petroses alive, these are they young Tsegaye G.Medhin who will never die.We fought slavery while fighting colonialism today we got enslaved by a tribalist(colonialist)agent Meles but as the young man recited his poem asked the lord to just give him another day to live, so he can be beside his oppressed nation just like Abuna Petros he prayed for another day so he can see justice prevail.Let us say Abugida
    for we have yenat eda.
    Thank you ABUGIDA

    Who is the source?

    Why such Poverty
    Of the old country
    I want an answer
    Says the mother
    Is it
    The curse
    From the war
    Or
    Is it
    From injustice
    Of terrorism and murder
    In the seventies

    Who is the source?
    Is it
    Revenge
    From God
    Due to old believers
    Going off the road
    Is it
    Vengeance
    From north
    To south
    Who said that?
    Looking at starved
    Children of Ethiopians
    Those skeletons
    Made me sick
    To my stomach

    Who is the source?

    I want an answer
    Says the mother

    Elias Kiflom,

You state …..”Instead, a meeting is organized by unknown individuals in a small town called Nürnberg.”

I see here a Sarah Palin moment…”Small Town in Nürnberg?????” Nürnberg is not a small town…get your facts straight before you post.

YOU got chased out of paltalk discussion forum because of your arrogance!!

“I think there will be a whole lot of changes,” Levin said. “There will be no blank cheques.”

The changes he sees are coming in the infusion of talent on the State Department and energized, as well as forceful engagements, of the United States with Ethiopia.

In every change that you experience in life,
there will be times when you’ll wonder if you can endure.

But you’ll learn that facing each difficulty one by one isn’t so hard.
It’s when you don’t deal with a situation
that it sometimes comes back to confront you again.

    Changes are sometimes very painful,
but they teach us that we can endure
and that we can become stronger.

Everything that comes into your life has a purpose,
but the outcome is in your hands by the action you take.

    Be wise with your life,
    be willing to endure,
and always be willing to face life’s challenges.

    The Poet!

I have read and heard many poems nothing to this magnitude. The courage, authenticity of the young Ethiopian poet reflects the inner pain and suffering our people and the undying desire of this generation to replace the TPLF tribal dynasty with a transparent democracy for all Ethiopian.

    Long Live Ethiopiawinet!
