Tsegaye Tadesse of Reuters gets his windmill

Tsegaye Tadesse is an insult to the great media institution he works for. Last week, the Reuters reporter kept silent when the court in charge of the treason and genocide trial decided that the CUD council members should defend themselves against the charge of outrage against constitutional order.

Today, he got the story that would put the government and the court in positive light. His headline was predictable but false.

Ethiopia treason trial judge frees 25 journalists

The number of journalists who were freed today are nine. 25 is the total number of people who were released.

This is not the first time Tsegaye acted as the propagandist for the government. From predicting a huge victory to EPRDF in election 2005 to continually disseminating the myth that Ethiopia is on course to become a middle income country in 20 years, Tsegaye’s spins and stories are eloquent testimonies to what he stands for.

    Dear Ethiopians,

This guy is a flagrant apologist of the Meles Regime. We got to voice our opposition on the various activities he done in sympathy with the regime. You, concerned Ethiopians in a better position to raise our voice should file a formal compliant against this culprit. His acts are totally unethical and an insult to the profession he claims to be in.

Dear Abugida website admins, I urge you to post an open petition( on which, we all can sign) to the Reuters office for his immediate resignation on the various counts. He should get the fate of the AFP reporter soon. You respected and famous Ethiopians also would have to act up on this gut. I and other Ethiopians have always been irrittated by his deeds.

Dear Abugida editos, Thank you for exposing this type of sense less and shame full jornalist. He shouldn’t be a journalist to this renown media center. Let him go and work for radio fana, reporter or be speaker of Meles. Please set pettion page.

Keep up with the good work

    Thank you.

I think Tsegaye is Meles’ supporter. So, he should retire with dignity before it is too late. Reuters is a channel of truth not a media for Woyane’s false stories.
    Good luck for him.

Oh wait. Yes, I have. I’m sorry, but I just don’t have it in me right now to type it all out again. Besides, it was just ramblings anyway. You didn’t want to hear me go on and on about this, right?
